The video that we present won the MTV best video award in 1996. It is a great video for a great song, and coincidently my brother alberto from fee fi fo fum fame, is the bass player that you see in the last segment when Beck is onstage performing with a band. If you don’t know what a bass looks like, then look for the guy with the beard. that’s my bro.

In his writings which included essays, poems, plays, and novels, Miguel De Unamuno employed a language which was both austere and precise. His philosophy foreshadowed the thinking of 20th century existentialists, such as Jean Paul Sartre and Albert Camus. He was the ultimate rebel, because he rebelled against the anguish of existence, and its creator, and his consigna was “contra esto y aquello (against this and that)”. He asked the questions that have no answer. He said that love most be spoken for it to be love. He never stopped believing in love, because love is faith.

We were travelling from new york to los angeles, doing street attacks in every city and town that we encountered. in minneapolis while we played at the nicollet mall, we met lorenzo from pj and the magic bus. he invited us to stay at the magic bus loft and introduced us to the wonderful artist community of that great city. before we departed to continue on our trek to los angeles we performed a show in pj’s loft. on this night we opened for pj and the magic bus. the first song is “sugar ditch alley” by fee fi fo fum, a post punk pop song that i wrote in 1985. the second song is pj and the magic bus performing “you won’t see me”. if you listen carefully to lorenzo’s lyrics, you will notice that he improvised 2 verses in homage to fee fi fo fum. thank you pj, larry and thor for your caritas. i offer this post as an homage to pj and the magic bus for that special night in the miniapple.
