A Link To Some Aphorisms By Miguel De Unamuno One Of My Favorite Writers

In his writings which included essays, poems, plays, and novels, Miguel De Unamuno employed a language which was both austere and precise. His philosophy foreshadowed the thinking of 20th century existentialists, such as Jean Paul Sartre and Albert Camus. He was the ultimate rebel, because he rebelled against the anguish of existence, and its creator, and his consigna was “contra esto y aquello (against this and that)”. He asked the questions that have no answer. He said that love most be spoken for it to be love. He never stopped believing in love, because love is faith.
