Dead Rider By Fee Fi Fo Fum Recorded In Hollywood In 1988 (Javier Hernandez-Miyares)

This version of Dead Rider was recorded at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. The recording was included on our album titled “Americana”. Dead Rider made the top twenty playlist of the legendary fordham university radio sation wfuv. At the time fuv was the most important radio station that supported alternative music. Dead Rider is a punk rock dirge. It is foreboding sculpted in sound. The rhythm is the hoofbeats of Lorca’s “jinetero muerto” while being pursued by an apocalyptic posse.

  1. Oh my look at the hair… what style is that?

  2. Bad hair? actually, i had my hair tied back in a pony tail, and since i play with a lot of passion, by the time this pic was taken, i had shaken many hair strands out of their noose.
